Oscommerce is a free and open-source GNU GPL licensed shopping cart software. According to official Oscommerce.com web site there are over 220,000 store owners and developers and more than 6,000 addons to help customize Oscommerce and increase sales.
With osCommerce you can create an online store that supports payments from Authorize.net, netbilling, Paypal.com, 2checkout.com and other popular payment providers. Both phisical and virtual goods (for download) can be sold. User system is also supported. Other features include: unlimited products and categories, internationalization (available in several languages), many product options available including shipping, handling etc, database backups, web administration panel and lots of others. Oscommerce is one of the oldest shopping carts available. One downside is it does not have template system, but this feature is planned to be included in version 3 of the software.
